New Delhi: Indian wrestler Ravi Kumar Dahiya who won the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics was congratulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Ravi Kumar Dahiya contested with Zaur Uguev of Russian Olympic Committee in the Men’s Freestyle 57 kg wrestling final at the Tokyo Olympics and lost 7-4, thereby assuring a silver medal.
Prime Minister Modi spoke to Dahiya and his coach Anil Maan and said that India is proud of him, and his success inspired the entire nation. The 23-year-old young wrestler from Haryana became the second Indian wrestler to win a silver medal at the Olympic Games.
