GUWAHATI: The first Coronavirus positive case has been detected in Assam. A 52-year-old person in Southern Assam has been tested positive with Coronavirus.
Taking to Twitter Assam’s health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the person is now undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College.
“His condition is stable,” minister Sarma stated in his Tweet.

According to reports, the person also visited Hatigaon area of Guwahati which has caused worry among the residents of the city.
