GUWAHATI: Hitting out at the Congress, prime minister Narendra Modi termed Congress-led grand alliance (Mahajut) in Assam as ‘Mahajhooth’.
Addressing an election rally in Bihpuria under Lakhimpur district, Modi said—You have to remember, this is not Congress’s ‘Mahajut’, it is Congress’s ‘Mahajhooth’.
The prime minister said Congress has been a symbol of discrimination against indigenous people of Assam.
“The Congress, which has been a symbol of discrimination against indigenous people of Assam, is talking of handing it over to Assam today. Congress can do anything to vote, take anyone along, cheat anyone,” Modi added.
“Congress can do anything for votes. They can stand with anyone and can even betray anyone,” he added further.
