Guwahati: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday visited the Sarusajai COVID centre built by the DRDO in Guwahati.
Singh was accompanied by Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Taking to his Twitter Singh wrote, “Visited the COVID dedicated hospital at Sarusajai in Guwahati today. The DRDO and Assam Government has come up with 316 bed COVID Hospital in a record time. This Hospital will help the state of Assam in its fight against the Pandemic. @DRDO_India”

Earlier in the morning, the Minister visited Kamakhya Devalaya along with CM Sarma to offer his prayers to the Goddess.
Singh arrived here on Thursday evening after dedicating 12 strategic roads, constructed by the Border Roads Organisation, at Kimin in Arunachal Pradesh.
