PM Modi halts speech midway in Assam: Asks medical team to help dehydrated BJP worker


GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday halted his speech midway and drew everyone’s attention to a BJP worker who fainted due to dehydration at a rally in Assam’s Baksa district. The prime minister promptly directed the team of PMO doctors to give immediate assistance to Hari Charan Das, an old-aged person present in the rally.

Following PM’s direction, the medical team attended to Das. He is reportedly stable now. 

The act of kindness of PM Modi melted hearts in the rally.

Prime Minister’s medical team comprises experts—that includes a paramedic, a personal physician, a surgeon and a critical care specialist. This four-member team travels everywhere with the PM and are equipped with multiple ranges of medical products to deal with any sort of medical emergencies.
