GUWAHATI: Assam Police has been stepping up the fight against drugs menace in the state.
As a part of its ‘Drugs Free Assam’ mission, police on Thursday night arrested six drug peddlers in Sivasagar district of upper Assam.
In the crackdown at Simaluguri, Sivasagar police recovered 7.44 grams brown sugar from their possession.
