GUWAHATI: Union home minister Amit Shah on Sunday discussed the speedy implementation of the Bodo Peace Accord in the meeting with Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and finance, health and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The meeting held at the official residence of home minister Shah in New Delhi.
“The meeting discussed the speedy implementation of the Bodo Accord. Decision was taken to implement many clauses of the accord within next 30 days. The centre and state government will take necessary steps for the same within next one month,” said Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma after the meeting.
The meeting also discussed a range of other important issues including NRC, implementation of clause 6 of the Assam Accord, ST status to six communities of Assam.
