Guwahati: Kamrup (Metro) district administration has withdrawn the containment zone orders from two locations of Guwahati. As no further case has been detected since the declaration of containment zone in the declared areas, the containment zone tags have been removed from Bisnupur Fatasil and Bhootnath Bihari Patty.
Kamrup (Metro) deputy commissioner notified the withdrawal through separate orders on Tuesday. However residents of the areas have been asked to follow all the protocols for preventing COVID-19 pandemic.
These areas were declared as containment zones after the detection of COVID-19 positive cases among some residents.
