GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal has thanked all the emergency workers including—journalists, health workers and Assam Police for their fight against COVID-19 pandemic in the state. After reviewing preparedness to deal with the pandemic at Sadia under Tinsukia district, Sonowal thanked all the stakeholders for putting up a hard fight against the deadly disease. CM Sonowal attended the district-level review meeting at the office of Sadia sub-divisional officer (SDO).
On the other hand, CM Sarbananda Sonowal also visited Sonari Civil Hospital under Charaideo district to check the arrangements for COVID-19 treatment. He visited the isolation centre set-up at the hospital. The chief minister was accompanied by Jorhat MP Tapan Kumar Gogoi and Sonari MLA Nabanita Handique.
