Contact with Guwahati’s COVID-19 patient: Woman quarantined in Nagaon

GUWAHATI: The health department has quarantined a woman in middle Assam’s Nagaon district who had reportedly come into contact with Boroda Das, a COVID-19 positive patient from Guwahati. According to reports, the woman Pratibha Devi is from Guwahati’s Amiya Nagar which is now a COVID-19 containment zone.  She was at the home of her son-in-law at Bamunijan Kholihamari village in Roha area since May 6.

The woman reportedly came into contact with Boroda Das, the COVID-19 patient from Amiya Nagar area of Guwahati. Meanwhile on Saturday, Nagaon district health department has sent Pratibha Devi to quarantine facility at Nagaon and arranged COVID-19 testing. The family of her married daughter has been kept under quarantine.
