GUWAHATI: The deputy commissioner (DC) of Assam’s Udalguri district has tested COVID-19 positive. DC Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia is the first administrative officer of the State to test COVID-19 positive.
He reportedly came into 5 health workers of National Health Mission (NHM) of Udalguri who were found COVID-19 positive on June 21.
Following that Gharphalia was under self-quarantine.
