BREAKING: Mohinimohan Gogoi and Alakesh Saikia to be handed over to Assam Police on Sunday

GUWAHATI: Exclusive image of Mohinimohan Gogoi and Alakesh Saikia, the two abducted ONGC officials rescued by a joint team of Army and Assam Rifles in Mon district of Nagaland late last night, being handed over to Mon Police by Assam Rifles personnel.

The duo is expected to be handed over to Assam Police Sunday morning following which they will be reunited with their families.

It is to be mentioned that two of the three Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) employees who were abducted by the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) on Wednesday have been rescued in an operation by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles in the Mon district of Nagaland.

Earlier, on April 21 midnight, a group of 5 suspected ULFA (I) militants abducted three ONGC employees— Mohini Mohan Gogoi, Ritul Saikia and Alakesh Saikia from a work over rig site (ROM-100 III) of ONGC.
