GUWAHATI: With 2284 fresh COVID-19 cases out of total 59,162 tests done in the state on Wednesday, the COVID-19 tally in Assam has breached 50 thousand mark. Currently, the total number stands at 50,445.
Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that positivity rate has come down to 3.86 per cent.

On the other hand, 1471 patients were discharged from different hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres in the state on Wednesday. There are 14,429 active cases in Assam with 35,892 recoveries and 121 deaths.
