BJP National President JP Nadda to visit Assam

BJP national president JP Nadda will be arriving in Assam today. As per inputs, Nadda during his visit will be meeting party leaders and workers. The party president will also inaugurate the BJP North East office building in Guwahati.

This morning JP Nadda along with Chief Minister Manik Saha, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Dey, and other party leaders paid tribute to Shyama Prasad Mookerjee and Deen Dayal Upadhyay.

After his arrival in Tripura on Sunday morning, BJP national president J P Nadda participated in a series of meeting in the Agartala state guest house.

The first meeting started at 2 PM with the BJP Tripura office bearers and concluded with Tripura BJP Core Committee meeting at around 10.45 PM.

Along with Nadda, BJP Tripura state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, CM Manik Saha, and Deputy CM Jishnu Dev Varma and a few organization leaders like Phanindranath Sarma and Vinod Sonkar were also present in the meetings.

Meanwhile, speaking to the media, Chief Minister Manik Saha thanked the BJP national president for visiting Tripura and guiding the party towards strengthening the organization.

Worth mentioning here, that the BJP National president also met the leaders of their alliance partners.

Following the meeting, IPFT leader and Minister Prem Kumar Reang express his satisfaction and said that his party would like to continue its alliance and come back to power with more seats in the coming assembly election.

However, he confessed that there has been no discussion regarding the separate tribal state Tipraland which is the most important issue in the coming elections, especially among the tribal people of the state.
