BJP Govt unprecedentedly developed infrastructure of Assam: Amit Shah in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Amid heightened electioneering for Assam assembly polls, union home minister Amit Shah addressed the social media workers of the BJP at a programme titled ‘Agragami Asom’ in Guwahati on Monday.

In his address, Shah highlighted the progress and achievements made by the BJP-led government in Assam.

“The BJPP-led government has unprecedentedly developed  the infrastructure of Assam. In last 5 years, under the guidance of PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, over 20,000 KMs of roads were constructed in the state,” he said.

The senior BJP leader stated that the foundation for strong infrastructure set by the BJP government will lead to a prosperous Assam.

“We’ve set a foundation for strong infrastructure, that will lead to a prosperous Assam. For this, we will have to free the state from floods. 38% of Assam is affected by floods,” he said at the programme held at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra.
