GUWAHATI: Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president Atul Bora who represents the Bokakhat constituency is the new Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Border Area Development, Implementation of Assam Accord, Cooperation Minister of Assam.
Bora was born on April 7, 1960, in Borahi Gaon of Golaghat. He is married to Bulbuli Baruah and they have one daughter, who is studying in Delhi. In the past, he did bodybuilding and weightlifting as well. He also likes farming. (source: Wikipedia)
