GUWAHATI: Assam has reported 52 new COVID-19 cases and one death on Tuesday. On the other hand, 27 patients were discharged on Tuesday. Currently, there are 347 active cases in the state, said a media bulletin by National Health Mission (NHM) Assam.
“Assam has been at the forefront of this fight against Covid-19 SINCE THE FIRST PATIENT WAS DETECTED ON 31ST March 2020. The state has so far successfully combated this disease by following all health protocols & guidelines issued by WHO & MoHFW,” stated the bulletin.
