GUWAHATI: Assam on Sunday recorded 1,844 new COVID-19 cases out of the total 33,674 tests done in the State. The positivity rate for the day was 5.48 per cent. Out of the new cases, 791 cases are from Kamrup Metropolitan district.
On the other hand, 14 persons succumbed to the infection on Sunday.
