Assam Police’s PST-PET to be conducted afresh from Feb 15

GUWAHATI: The Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PST and PET) for posts of constables in Assam Police will be conducted afresh from February 15 in 15 districts of the state.

The tests will be held for the reference and recruitment of 2391 posts of constables (UB) and 4271 posts of constables (AB) in the police force.

The PST and PET which were held earlier in 16 districts from August 24, 2020 and were paused on October 10, 2020, have been cancelled by the government of Assam.

“Candidates of above-mentioned districts are requested to download their Admit Card w.e.f. 10-02-2021, which will be available on SLPRB website cww.slprbassam in. Accordingly, candidates are requested to attend PST/PET at the venue and time mentioned in the Admit Card,” stated in a notification issued by the Assam director general of police (DGP) and chairman of State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB).

“The dates for downloading of Admit Card for PST/PET for the other 18 (eighteen) districts will be published in due course. Candidates are advised to visit the SLPRB website for further updates,” it added further.
