GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today visited Goalpara Civil Hospital where all the three COVDI19 patients from the district have been lodged for treatment. Minister Sarma arrived in the hospital to enquire about the health updates of the Coronavirus patients. He also interacted with the doctors and staff and asked them to remain vigilant.
Minister Sarma checked the preparedness of the hospital on COVID19.
Dr. Sarma has been visiting all the hospitals where the COVID19 patients of the state are being treated.
Goalpara has reported three Coronavirus positive cases so far, all of them are related to Nizamuddin Markaz.
Khabiruddin Ahmed (41), a resident of Kismatpur in Goalpara town, Sahjahan Ali Ahmed (60) of Nayapara and Yusuf Ali (18) of Bamunpara village of Matia were found Coronavirus positive on April 2. The trio attended Tablighi Jamaat at Nizamddin Markaz in Delhi and did not report the health department after their return to home.
