GUWAHATI: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL), an ally of the BJP in Assam has released a list of 8 candidates for the third phase of assembly polls.
The Pramod-Boro led party has fielded former president Urkhao Gwra Brahma on Chapaguri (ST) seat.
The other candidates are—Somnath Narzary in Gossaigaon, Manaranjan Brahma in Kokrajhar West (ST), Lawrence Islary in Kokrajhar East (ST), Jayanta Basumatary in Sidli (ST), Phanin Boroin Bijni, Leho Ram Boro in Tamulpur and Bhupen Baro in Barama (ST).
