Assam BJP leader Biswajit Daimary’s son missing

GUWAHATI: Son of Assam’s former Rajya Sabha MP and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Biswajit Daimary has been missing since Tuesday morning from a residential school at Kokrajhar. Amitraj Daimary, son of the former MP is a class X student of Reality Public School, Kokrajhar.

“So far, no inputs have been received. It has been confirmed that two of his friends helped him in crossing the school wall. He informed them that he would first visit home, then he would travel to Guwahati and Delhi,” said Biswajit.

The BJP leader stated that he had talked to his son over phone in the morning before the latter had gone missing.

“He told me about studying outside the campus. Since, the private tutor is not available on daytime, so I insisted him to stay on the campus,” Biswajit Daimary informed media.

Police has launched a massive search operation to trace the son of the former Rajya Sabha MP.
