GUWAHATI: While Assam recorded 2900 fresh COVID-19 cases on Monday, 1261 more patients were discharged from COVID care centres and hospitals of the state. So far, 43,586 persons have recovered from the COVID-19 infection. Currently there are 17,997active cases in the state.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam stands at 61,737.
