GUWAHATI: Assam health, finance and education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma hit back at All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Maulana Badruddin Ajmal after latter claimed that Congress-AIUDF would reopen the Madrasas after it forms government in Assam.
Talking to media persons, Dr. Sarma said that Ajmal’s dream would never be fulfilled.
Ajmal said that Congress-AIUDF would take decisions to reopen the Madrasas and providing ST status to the six communities in its first cabinet.
“Ajmal’s cabinet will be in Bangladesh or Pakistan. It will never be at Dispur. We will not allow that,” Sarma said.
