GUWAHATI: In his speech at Jerenga Pathar in Assam’s Sivasagar, prime minister Narendra Modi said nearly 40% population of Assam has been benefitted from Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
“Today, nearly 40% population of Assam has benefitted from Ayushman Bharat. 1.5 lakh people have received free treatment already,” the prime minister said.
He also mentioned that 35 lakh women have got gas connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, with 4 lakh families in this belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.
