Guwahati: Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat on Friday donated Rs 5 crore to CMRF (Chief Minister’s Relief Fund) as an aid for the flood victims of Assam. He has expressed his deep sympathies on the loss of life and property due to heavy rains and resultant floods in the state.
Rawat took stock of the Assam flood by talking to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal over the phone. He also expressed his concern for the flood-affected people and animals of the state.
Assam CM Sonowal took his twitter handle to express his gratitude over the kind gesture of the Uttarakhand CM Rawat.
