GUWAHATI: Amid COVID-19 crisis, Assam Police has opened helpline for the senior citizens living in the state and staying alone.
The helpline provides facilitation of movement for COVID vaccination during lockdown restrictions, if slot is booked. It also arranges a personal visit to check well being, if the senior citizen is alone and in need.
The aims of the service also include facilitation of essential supplies and medicines, not related to COVID-19 treatment and if not available locally.
