Guwahati: Amid rising Covid-19 cases and efforts to contain the spread, the Assam government on Wednesday announced that from May 13 curfew will come into force from 2 PM in urban areas of Assam.
The order states that there shall be a total ban on movement of individuals from 2 PM to 5 AM Daily, except for Exemptions specified essential services.
However, the order will not be applicable for individuals working in Organizations rendering Essential/Emergency Services, Law Enforcement Services and Election work.
