GUWAHATI: Popular singer Zubeen Garg visited Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) at midnight to enquire about former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi’s health condition where he is undergoing treatment in a critical condition.
“I love Tarun Gogoi sir very much. He also loves me. I couldn’t visit earlier as he was COVID-19 positive. I don’t think him as a politician, he is a humanitairan,” Zubeen said.
The popular singer also recalled his times spent with the former chief minister recently in Jorhat.
“We have never discussed politics. We always talked about people and culture,” Zubeen said.
