Zubeen Garg returns home after testing COVID-19 negative

GUWAHATI: Assam’s popular singer Zubeen Garg along with his wife Garima Saikia Garg has returned home from Hotel Radisson Blu in Guwahati after the couple and their two friends tested COVID-19 negative.

Zubeen and Garima were in quarantine at Hotel Radisson Blu after they had reached Guwahati from Mumbai on Tuesday. They started their journey by a bus on May 8. After arriving at Guwahati, they were screened at Sarusajai and sent for quarantine at Hotel Radisson Blu.

However, as their test reports emerged as negative the popular singer moved to his residence at Kahilipara on Thursday night.

Talking to media persons, Zubeen Garg said, “I will be in home quarantine till May 28.”

He also urged the people of the state to remain cautious and follow all the norms to fight against COVID-19.

“We should not be panic. We have to fight and win,” Garg said on his way to home from the hotel.
