What Hagrama couldn’t do in 17 years, we will do that in 5 years: Pramod Boro

GUWAHATI: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) president Pramod Boro criticised Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary for not doing anything in last 17 years.

Addressing a public meeting cum joining ceremony at Tamulpur in Baksa district on Saturday, Pramod Boro said, “The works Hagrama Mohilary couldn’t do during his rule in last 17 years, we will do all of them in next 5 years.”

Boro said that UPPL would contest BTC elections with the motto of ‘one vote, one change and employment’.

In a separate meeting at Goreswar, UPPL president Pramod Boro claimed that the 32 lakh people of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) were not satisfied with the current BTC government.
