GUWAHATI: Kamrup Metro District Administration launched a web portal ‘deokamrupmetro.in‘ on Wednesday to provide hassle-free service and to address the various queries of the electorates of Guwahati.
Launched by Kamrup DC Biswajit Pegu, the portal has been made available for Jalukbari, Dispur, East Guwahati and West Guwahati. Polling stations in all four constituencies, BLO details, phone numbers, etc are available in the portal. Also, Measures have been taken to update this web portal daily.
“Generally there are various questions in the minds of voters related to voting and through this portal people can get the answer to their questions. This portal has been launched before the elections for the general public as well as voter help to address their queries. This is one of its kind and the first web portal in Assam that can also be used by visually impaired peoples,” said Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu.
