GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal today chaired an all-party meeting at Assam Administrative College in Guwahati. The meeting discussed COVID19 crisis and lockdown situation in the state.
The meeting was attended by Assam health and finance minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, former CM Tarun Gogoi among several other leaders across different political spectrum.
After the meeting, CM Sonowal said, “Everyone has expressed satisfaction over the steps of the government against COVID19.Everyone has taken resolution to work together as Team Assam.”
“Leaders of all the political parties have taken a joint resolution to thank frontline health workers, security forces and all those who are leading our fight against COVID19,” Sonowal added.
