GUWAHATI: Around 20 people were injured as the Bolero pick-up they were travelling overturned near Digholtonga, Baksa. The group was returning from Vijay Utsav held at Kokrajhar.
The injured were admitted to Rabiram Boro Civil Hospital at Mushalpur. According to sources, the driver of the Bolero pick-up lost control which led to the accident.
“We are not aware how it happened but the vehicle turned over. We immediately rushed the injured to the civil hospital. There were around 18-19 people in the vehicle who got injured of which four are grievously injured,” said a local resident.
