GUWAHATI: The new guidelines for Unlock 4 in Assam will be published today evening, said chief secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna. Talking to media persons, chief secretary Krishna said that strict action will be taken to ensure social distancing and wearing of masks.
“We are taking decisions today following the directives of the government of India. We are also considering the local conditions,” said the chief secretary.
“We have been taking actions against people not wearing masks. The actions will continue,” Kumar Sanjay Krishna added.
He also stated that the decisions on reopening of schools and colleges will be the same as announced by the education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
“Education department will issue the order in a day or two,” the chief secretary said.
