Union Minister Amit shah inaugurates bus terminal in Mawiong

Guwahati:  Union Minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated the interstate bus terminal at Mawiong, East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya. 

Along with Shah, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Union Minister For Culture, Tourism And Development Of North Eastern Region G Kishan Reddy and Union Minister of State Dr.Jitendra Singh was also present at the inaugural ceremony. 

Taking to Twitter CM Sangma wrote, “Home Minister, @AmitShah ji who is also Chairman of NEC inaugurates the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Mawiong, Shillong Elated to have @MDoNER_India Union Minister @kishanreddybjp, Hon’ble MoS @DrJitendraSingh & B L Verma”.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony Amit Shah said that the bus terminal will improve road connectivity of Northeast and will make the region an economic hub.
