Tripura: Two patients keeping well, 35 TSR jawans quarantined

AGARTALA: The 45-year Tripura woman and a Tripura State Rifles (TSR) jawan, admitted to GBP hospital are keeping well without any sign of aggravation in their condition, reports Tripura Info.

Talking to media Tripura health secretary Debasish Basu said that 35 jawans of the TSR 13th battalion who had come into contact with the jawan have been identified and blood samples of 9 jawans who were in close contact with the admitted jawan are being brought to Agartala for testing. “The blood samples will have to be tested twice and if on both occasions they test negative we can be reasonably sure that they have not been infected by Coronavirus ; the blood sample of the Guwahati-returned lady has once tested negative and we are waiting for result of the second confirmatory test ; the blood sample of the TSR (13th battalion) jawan who had returned by train from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh is yet to be tested” said Debasish Basu.
