The six-time Grand Slam winner and four-time Olympic champion, Sania Mirza has announced her official retirement from tennis on January 13 stating that the Australian Open and the Dubai Open in February will be her last tournaments.
Sania, who had begun her Grand Slam journey with the Australian Open back in 2005, penned down an emotional note on her Twitter handle.
Sania Mirza shared the ‘life update’ on social media and also revealed the reason behind her retirement.
