Tarun Gogoi is haemodynamically stable: GMCH Superintendent

PUBLISHED:

GUWAHATI: Former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi is haemodynamically stable, said Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) superintendent Dr. Abhijit Sarma.

“His blood pressure is slightly fluctuating. Otherwise, sir is haemodynamically stable,” said Dr. Sarma.

“Definitely there will be some improvement in the health of honourable ex-CM,” he added.

Tarun Gogoi’s heath had deteriorated on Saturday and he was “critical” and on ventilator support following post-COVID complications. There were also reports that Gogoi is suffering from multi-organ failure.

Meanwhile, the well-wishers cutting across party lines are praying for the speedy recovery of the veteran politicians. Political leaders and other public figures are making beeline to the GMCH to take stock of Gogoi’s health condition.
