The finest T20 batter in the world at the moment, Suryakumar Yadav has claimed the No. 1 spot in the ICC T20I rankings for batters, released on Wednesday (November 2).
The middle order batter Suryakumar has been one of the most in-form batters in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. In 4 matches so far in the tournament, he has scored of 15, 51*, 68 and 30.
Suryakumar left behind New Zealand’s Devon Conway and pipped Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan to claim the top spot in the ICC men’s ranking for T20 batter.
With 863 points, Suryakumar sits pretty atop the table, with Virat Kohli (10th position) being the only other Indian in the top 10.
