Guwahati, Dec 24: In a tragic incident, 3 persons were mowed to death by a Dumper on NH 315 at Burma camp of Ledo under Tinsukia district. The accident took place when a speeding Dumper crashed into two two-wheelers.
Three persons who were on the two two-wheelers died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Gobind Taye, Aswini Narah and Jiten Doley. Whereas Gobind and Aswini belonged to Jagun, Jiten Doley hailed from Majuli. Another woman from Majuli has been seriously injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, in Jorhat, 3 persons have been injured when a Bolero Pick-up van bearing registration number AS-05 C-6880 collided head on with a truck with registration number AS-05 6680. The accident took place on a bye-lane near National Highway.
