GUWAHATI: A youth from Sipajhar has been arrested on Monday evening by the Darrang Police for using abusive language on Facebook against Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal.
The youth has been identified as Brighumoni Nath and runs a Facebook page titled Dhanjit Shivam.
Nath alias Dhanjit Shivam is accused of using an abusive post targeted towards the chief minister. Nath is a resident of Bosasua which comes under Sipajhar Police Station.
The Darrang Police arrested him on the basis of a sou motu case filed against him.
