GUWAHATI: After Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) at Dibrugarh, Silchar Medical College and Hospital will be reserved for only Coronavirus patients, announced Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today. However, it will continue to deal with maternity and emergency cases.
The Government of Assam has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 22 private hospitals of Silchar for cashless treatment of regular patients at Ayushman Bharat rates which will be reimbursed by the government.
