GUWAHATI: The Assam government has allowed the opening of the shopping malls during Unlock 3. Most of the shopping malls in Guwahati have reopened following COVID-19 protocols set by the government.
Arrangements have been made at the shopping malls in the city to follow social distancing and other precautions. Entry of the customers without wearing a mask has been barred by the malls.
“Entry of the customers wighout wearing a mask has been restricted. Those below 10 years and above 65 years of age are not allowed to enter the mall,” said an employee of V2 at Paltanbazaar.
He also mentioned that all the precautions have been taken to prevent the COVID-19 infection.
” FIive customers can enter at once. The mall is open from 9 AM to 5 PM,” said another employee.
