Guwahati: With popular 80s and 90s shows – Ramayan, Mahabharat, Byomkesh Bakshi and Circus – making a return on television during the coronavirus lockdown, netizens want a re-run of Shaktimaan, featuring Mukesh Khanna as India’s most popular superhero.
And after all the speculations and keeping in mind about the wishes of all the 90’s kid the show is going to be re-telecasted on Doordarshan once again.
Confirming about the same Mukesh Khanna aka Shaktimaan tweeted that the show will return soon on Doordarshan once again.He also added to wait for further information as when the show will be telecasted.
Shaktimaan is an Indian Hindi-language superhero television show that aired on DD 1 from 13 September 1997 to 27 March 2005. Producer Mukesh Khanna played the role of Shaktimaan and his alter ego “Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri”, a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz.
