GUWAHATI: Kamrup (Metro) district administration on Friday declared containment zones in several areas of Guwahati following the detection of COVID-19 cases. The district administration has declared Lichubagan at Hengerabari and Indrapur hill top area as containment zones. Earlier Central Jail, Guwahati, Bathou Nagar, Geeta Mandir at Noonmati and Krishna Nagar, Gosala at Maligaon were declared as containment zones.
The boundary of Lichubagan containment zone is:
North: Smashan Road
South: Nizarapur Road
East: Residence of Bhupen Das and others
West: Lakshminagar Link Road
The boundary of Indrapur hill top area containment zone as follows:
North: Medical College Hostel
South: Hill area
East: 10 APBN main road
West: Part of Indrapur
