GUWAHATI: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal has asserted that the sealing of Indo- Bangladesh border would be completed soon. Talking to All India Radio, Sonowal said that the centre had adopted smart technology to seal the porous border. He expressed hope that with the sealing of the border, the issue of illegal migration from Bangladesh will be resolved.
The chief minister also claimed that Assam has made tremendous progress in the last 5 years. He also stated that Guwahati has emerged as the aviation hub of the region.
