Sanjay Dutt Arrives In Itanagar, to Attend 50 Years Of Arunachal Pradesh Celebration

Guwahati: The celebrations commemorating the 50 years of Arunachal Pradesh commenced at the Padi Yubbe stadium in Ziro on January 20, 2022—the same place where Indira Gandhi had, 50 years ago, officially named and designated Arunachal Pradesh as a Union Territory. The month-long celebrations will end on February 20, 2022, in Itanagar on the occasion of Arunachal Pradesh’s 36th Statehood Day. The celebration will see cultural programmes and speeches by dignitaries and leaders. Sanjay Dutt, who is the brand ambassador of 50 years of Arunachal Pradesh’s campaign, reached Itanagar for the celebrations.

According to reports, the Munna Bhai actor arrived in Itanagar an hour ago to attend a huge function, which will be held tonight. In the video, Sanjay can be seen landing at the airport via a State-chopper. Besides him, many dignities including, AP’s CM Pema Khandu and Assembly Speaker Pasang Dorjee Sona will also be a part of the celebrations. The report added that the actor on reaching received a warm welcome by producer Rahul Mittra, who is AP’s brand advisor. Mittra had also backed Sanjay’s film ‘Torbaaz’. Both met and greeted each other with a warm hug.

It is being said that there are two major themes, ‘Celebrating Past and Nurturing Future’ and ‘Say No to Drugs’ a part of the proceedings. Reportedly, at the event, Dutt will be talking about drug abuse.
