GUWAHATI: The Assam government has provided financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to veteran Assam actress Anupama Bhattacharya.
Following chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s instructions, minister of cultural affairs Bimal Borah on Tuesday handed over the cheque to Bhattacharya who was the first actress of Assamese mobile theatre.
