GUWAHATI: A bullet rider (AS-21G-9660) and the female pillion were crushed by a dumper in Telahi stand, Morigaon, Assam. Both of them died on the spot immediately.
The whole incident was captured on a CCTV camera located in a nearby building.
The deceased husband and wife have been identified as Trilokya Deka and Runu Deka. Trilokya Deka was a Subedar in the Indian Army.
In the CCTV footage, it can be clearly seen that the dumper was trying to overtake the motorcycle and dragged the bike and crushed both of them to death.
Morigaon Police reached the spot immediately after the accident and the bodies of the deceased have been taken to hospital.
